The day my heart jumped out of my skin

On friday (22nd), my last day at work, i was sent to the bank by work to put in yesterdays takings. As i was coming out of the bank, there was an almighty BANG, and for a split second i thought a bomb had gone off.

After the immediate split second shock, i saw that a guy had been knocked off his motorbike by a car! He'd gone flying off and skidded across the road, with parts of his bike smashing and flying off.

For a second i had no idea wat to do. What do u do in those situations??? He still had his helmet on. Do i take it off, keep it on? Luckily he took if off himself, and then some other people came and helped him out of the road and moved his bike. I didnt know whether i should leave him where he was, just in case he'd hurt himself and moving him would make it worse.... I dont know whether what those other people did was right or wrong, but i do know that no1 but me had their phone out calling an ambulance. You'd think that that would be the first thing someone would do, but they were just standing around saying 'you alrite mate?'

So i called the ambulance, which they asked me loads of questions about where i was, wat happened, how old the guy was etc. As soon as i put down the phone, my phone started ringing again, and it was the paramedics who asked me to tell the guy not to move, eat or drink. I put the phone down and the ambulance was arriving (they were quick! but the hospital is just round the corner, so you'd expect them to be lol). They took the guy off in the ambulance after saying they think it was just bruising down his leg and hip, and he said i was his 'guardian angel' for getting straight on my phone :o) lol that was nice.

Hope he's ok though......

Don't Step On My Blue Suede Shoes!

Sooooooooooooooooooooo, the shoes! I finally decided to give into my daily obessive thoughts and go buy the shoes lol I reasoned that since i have a £75 commission coming my way, AND that Office has 10% student discount (making the shoes £72) that the shoes are partically free! lol So, on my lunch break last week, i walked down to Knightsbridge to go to Office and get the lil mofos. And wat happened..... THEY DIDNT HAVE MY SIZE!!!!! I was so upset. Whilst i was there i tried the black pair on, and they looked GREAT. Every1 in the shop was commenting on how great they looked when i put them on, which made me even more upset that i couldnt buy the colour i wanted lol

Then began my daily search for the shoes.

I was just about to give up when Gemma (my cousin), said she had seen the shoes in the Office concession in Topshop (Oxford Street). I had COMPLETELY forgotten that there was that concession in there, so the next day (yes2day) i decided to go down there. Before i went to Topshop i decided id go in the Office store on Oxford St (i wasnt going to bother before bcos the manager in the Knightsbridge store had said that no1 in West End has them. I later found out she was a LIAR lol) bcos u cant get the student discount in the concession stores, so if i found them there id have to pay the full £80.
So i go into the store, and not only is the shoe on the shelf, but the one on display is my size! I actually said "f**k off!" out loud, and then raced to get the other shoe.

So my mission is complete. Please meet my new conquest: The Elvis

They are soooooo confortable aswell, even though they're probably abt 4 inches. They're a good buy ladies.....

What an eventful day!

Had my day off work today and reluctantly got up early (9) to go to the doctors. Had to get some drugs replenished (lol) and whilst i was there had a chat to the doc about my supposed asthma. The doc at uni had said he wanted to do some tests and stuff before he properly diagnosed me with it (although he did give me an inhaler), but this doc straight away was like 'you have asthma'. So she put me on the asthmatics register (i also qualify for a free flu jab... dont think i'll get it though as id feel like im stealing it from an old person lol) and gave me a prescription for 2 different types of inhaler. So cough! cough! Im asthmatic! lol

So the second part of my day involves TK Maxx in croydon. I havent been in this shop for AGES as id lost the will to dig and dig and dig through the rails to find anything good, but lo and behold! What do i find today but a pair of dVb jeans!!!!!!! In my size!!!!!!!! AND they fitted!!!!!!!!! Now i dont know if you know, but i HATE trying to buy jeans, cos they never fit me due to my thighs trying to take up more space than they've been allocated, so the fact that they fitted was IMMENSE!! To educate those that dont know much about dVb jeans, but these are the jeans designed by Victoria Beckham, and usually start at around £200 to buy, so gettin this pair that fitted and were only £50 was an absolute miracle to me. Over haps lol

Now what made this day even better, was while i was tryin on these fabulous jeans, i get a fone call, and who is it but SELFRIDGES asking me to come in for an interview on Sunday!!! hehehe! But after i put the fone down, i started thinking about it, and i dont think im gona go for the interview, as i was getting really excited about working so close to home and getting more sleep with Zara! So i think im gona call them 2moro and say that ive been offered another job and that im taking it.

All in all, things seem to be going well for me at the moment..... its kinda scary, as im used to NOTHING going right, so im not enjoying it as much as as i should, cos im waiting for it to end! Maybe this is a reason for me to buy my shoes, while things are going well.... hmmmmmmmmmmm.......................

Here we go again....

So today, i started counting calories again. I have a lil bracelet that i made which has 15 beads on it. 1 bead equals 100 calories. They say that to maintain your weight u should be eating around 2000 calories a day, and to lose weight u should be looking at 1500.... I never realised how much difference 500 calories can make! i ate 700 calories during the day (consisting of a Kinder Bueno (im a little addicted at the moment); an Apple and Cinnimon muffin from Starbucks; a hot chocolate from Pret; two Petit Filous small pots of yogurt; and half a can of Rubicon (gave the rest to Pawel cos he loves this drink as much as me!)). I wasn't starving or anything, but i still could of done with eating some more! lol But then me and Nat went to Nando's for dinner and i had a free whole chicken to get so we shared that. I only had a quater and then some peri chips and spicey rice, which i dont think was that much, so im confident that it came under the 800 calories i had left. If it went over i dont think it was by that much....

Im gona try and keep this up for at least a week alongside my gym work outs that i do 4 times a week and see if there are ne amazing changes... Keep ya posted! xXx

I want them sooooooooo bad! They've only just come out so they'll be around for a little while, but they've been in alllll the friggin magazines, so i dont want everyone to be jumpin on them b4 i have a chance to save up my pennys!





I went and tried one shoe on the other day, and they are some HIGH muthas, just how i like them :oD





I dont know wat to do! Do i buy them now and have my mum tell me off for buyin MORE shoes.... or wait, and buy them later, risking not being able to have them at all...?! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!

New Job! Mwahahaha!

I got a new job! hehehe! So happy to be leaving Jigsaw! That shop just sucks the energy out of me, and i spend so much time there. Since they finally gave me a password for the till (so i can do refunds, send emails etc etc) they're trying to take the piss out of my life by teaching me how to close the tills at the end of the day, which means i have to stay later than everyone else, which means i get home at abt 9 -9.30!

So now, im working for Zara in Croydon :oD The money is more or less the same, but i dont have to pay £160 a month on travel! The discount is quite rubbish at Zara though, going from 45% off everything plus £800 a year of free clothes to 15% and a standard black uniform..., but then theres a better chance of getting some good commission at Zara and i prefer the clothes AND i can get to the gym earlier and more often cos its right round the corner! And really and truely, im not gona be there for that long cos after i finish my course im looking for some really money! ya get me doh! lol

I dont start at Zara until the Tuesday after the bank holiday so im not gona hand in my notice at Jigsaw until next Monday. What a surprise it'll be for them! hehehe! Im gona miss everybody though. Met some really nice people at Jiggy. Although, there are some hotties working in my Zara, some im not that upset! hahaha! (shall keep u posted ladies (literally!))

I have arrived!

So.... the reason i decided to become a blogger was due to my competitive side, as i decided that mine would be better than Mahlon's dry ass blog that just has loads of posts with him COMPLAINING abt something lol (im playing Mah, u know i love u :oD) The real reason is just to have somewhere to vent my thoughts on things, as well as letting my friends know wats going on with me as i've been working f/t (:o( ) and im gona be going to do my PostGrad at London College of Fashion! (YAY!) As well as that, i thought i'd give u lot (and me!) something else to do on the internet other than Facebook!

So, yes, I have arrived! And this will be a blog that talks abt all the wonderful things i want to buy aswell, but cant because i shouldnt be spending... (and then the stuff that i just went and bought neway lol)
